After dealing with unexplained infertility for a year and a half, I had read studies that pointed to acupuncture as a a way to improve pregnancy rates.  I decided to give it a try (along with fertility treatments) with Sung Hung. He is a knowledgeable professional who helped explain many of the concepts of traditional medicine and acupuncture.  In addition to that, he provided such support and encouragement is all-around a good guy. I highly recommend him. I am pleased to say I am now pregnant.

I went for acupuncture for my 98 year old father who had a stroke back in 2005...quite a long time ago. Dr. Hong said that you really should start acupuncture on the day after the stroke. My father had been right hemiparesis (paralysis) on his right leg since the stroke and had no feeling there. He could not move his right leg and he was quite lethargic. After the treatment, we got downstairs to get into the car, and my father was talking quite vibrantly. He was so extremely happy and vibrant, talking excitedly. He asked who was this man and we should bring him some presents and share with him pictures of our family which was the ultimate compliment coming from my father.

When we got home and I put him to bed that night, he called me from his room and said his leg hue. I said oh no and I should call Dr. Hong. He said "No, No" . The pain is not a problem. I can feel my leg for the first time since the stroke. Who was this doctor? We have to bring him presents and share with him our family pictures (which was his sign of the utmost gratification). He had never said this to me before in all the years I was together with him. Dr. Hong made the last months of his life so happy. Dr. Hong is the most caring and knowledgeable acupuncture that I know. No matter where I go, I will always come back to Dr. Hong.

About two years ago, I was diagnosed with a rare bone disease (Kienbock’s disease) that affected a bone in both my wrists.  The blood to the middle wrist bone is somehow cut off, and the bone dies. There is no cure for this disease, it only gets worse with time.  None of the surgical options available had very good prognoses, so I decided to try acupuncture to help with the intense pain.  Since I started coming to Sung, I no longer need to have my wrists in braces, and the pain is less and less as time goes on.  The last MRI I had showed that there was actual improvement in the disease.  This was supposedly impossible!  Thanks to Sung, I am now starting a new career.

I'm a 45-year-old Male that has suffered from cluster migraines all my life. My Cluster Migraine cycle was 4 days with migraine 3 days recouping physically. Then the cycle would repeat. I AM WORKING TODAY BECAUSE OF DR. SUNG! Three years ago I was suffering with severe neck pain. So severe that simple daily functions like driving, working and lifting my head of the pillow in the morning was excruciating. I am nail technician and had to take several breaks between clients. I have been having Migraine headache for more than 20 years. I had it since I was 18 and I had fainting issues since I was 13 years old. I have tried everything.
